Tumblr Pet Peeve: It irks me when people think writing “reblogging this won’t ruin your blog/make your blog ugly” will make people actually reblog something of theirs.
1. When the hell did I care how my blog looks? It’s a fucking blog. If you think I’m judging it based on its physical appearance, you need to get the hell off of the internet and re-evaluate your life.
2. Of course it won’t ruin my blog. Nothing can ruin my blog, unless I can reblog a virus that shuts down my blog and then I can’t access it anymore. People will ‘like’, post, reblog, and mention things that they are interested in, want people to know, or have strong emotions for. Your opinion of them on whether they reblog you or not is not, or will ever be, the most pertinent issue. If the post is so great, your two cents/useless comment won’t make a damn difference and someone will reblog it anyways.
So please, shut up and let the POST talk for itself.
