My boy, my brother Roland from this post here came back from Afghanistan this past weekend!

We threw him a surprise “Welcome Back to America” party, and celebrated all of the holidays he missed. 

Holidays Roland Missed:

  • Cinco de Mayo: Had a pinata waiting outside
  • July 4th: Decorated the house with AMERICA things
  • His Birthday: took shots (and more throughout the night)
  • Thanksgiving: Had a feast that consisted of Chipotle burritos and burrito bowls, Five Guys burgers and fries, Popeyes chicken, Lumpia rolls, greasy pizza, and strawberry shortcake. AMUREKA
  • Christmas: took shots, opened gifts, and watched a “happy holidays from everyone” compilation video we were supposed to send him
  • New Years: Countdown from 10 and took lots of shots 

Needless to say, he was pretty gone at the end of the night because he hasn’t drank since he left. 

Now he’s going to pick me up so we can get whole chickens at El Pollo Rico. Yea, we like to eat. alot.
